The implementation of the mobility project has helped that students who are involved in the project deepen their existing knowledge and acquire and/or strengthen their professional competences in future occupations and workplaces. All the aforementioned has helped to increase their competitiveness at the labour market and prepare them for their future work. Working in an international environment has helped them increase their working abilities, performance and strengthen their communication skills in English. It has also improved their quality of life and raisened awareness of the necessity for cooperation, tolerance, diversity, intercultural respect and increase the promotion of European values in the future. Participation in mobility project will contribute to the implementation of the School’s mission which emphasises the importance of educating students by acquiring theoretical knowledge and practical competencies which will enable them to compete at the global labour market.
Recognizing local traditional gastronomy and respective recipes;Preparing kitchen dishes and pastry of the host country;Confectioning, plating and decorating kitchen dishes of the host country, and respective garnishments;Researching the specificities of the local and national food market tendencies;Planning and preparing the service table/bar;Preparing and serving simple and mixed drinks;Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations;Support in cleaning/maintenance of the workplace;Implementing the national Health and Safety laws;Preparing the reception of tourists;Preparing tourist or visitor information;Preparation and planning of itineraries and activities for tourists;Preparing documents for check-in, check-out and client registration procedures;performing tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Usage of professional terminology; Improvement of foreign language level, by perfecting English language skills and learning basic notions of Portuguese language.
