The School of Economics is located in Imotski, a city which has become more popular with tourists. Thus, the School has opened a new schooling programme focusing on tourism and hotel management. The programme is roughly translated as a tourist-hotel commercialist, notably equivalent to tourist-hotel commercial management vocations. Given the unstable economic environment and the lack of adequate and high-quality vocational training in vicinity, schools are faced with difficulty in finding adequate partners for the implementation of vocational training for their students, which greatly affects quality of education. In addition, this kind of programme will most definitely contribute to expansion and improvement concerning school’s educational programme and practices, and implement newly acquired knowledge into practical and theoretical part of vocational school subjects.

The flight to Portugal went great, even though it was the first flight by plane for the vast majority of students. The plane staff was very pleasant, they even invited us to take a picture with the pilot after landing.
